ALEXANDER HACKE & DANIELLE DE PICCIOTTO

We were very pleased to have Alexander Hacke (Einsturzende Neubauten) and Danielle De Picciotto (Crime & The City Solution) in our studio to write, rehearse, record and mix music for their upcoming album and European tour. Blending traditional and unconventional instruments (hurdy gurdy, auto harp, effected violins, guitars, samples, voices and drums) there was nothing ordinary about this refreshingly inspirational session. Oh and in between takes there were album cover drawings, tour poster designs and a video shoot, not bad for a week's work. Safe to say that these nomads (they've literally been on the road since 2010) are the most prolific artists I've ever had the pleasure to work with. We wish them luck on their upcoming tour and look forward to having them back in March!
