YOUNG THE GIANT
Just another beautiful desert weekend hosting California alt rockers Young The Giant at Gatos Trail Recording Studio. Producer Jon O’Brien was at the helm for this very special long weekend of writing, recording, cooking and good ole hi-desert living! I love hosting sessions like this - super creative, fun, productive and family style. Everyone had a great time and a lot of amazing music was recorded. We experimented with different mics and unique set ups, getting some killer drum sounds while capturing magical vocal and instrumental performances. Young The Giant are currently on an arena tour with Cage The Elephant and I highly recommend checking them out if they come to your town.
